Frank Breuer- Photography of german post war times, the images have a dead pan view of things. Images include great depth of field, everything is sharp and the compositions are very strong. His works come in series, including his warehouse and power pole series. He only photographs when its overcast. Images are deceptively simple.
Garon Kiset- Photographs abandoned swimming pools, using natural light, thus creating interesting colours within his works.
Joel Sternfeld- Is a younger generation of photography with the use of colour. He photographs what he finds.
Lee Friedlander- Street photographer, sometimes including people within his images, including himself by reflection or shadow. He shows to the viewer that what he photographs is not generally the truth-post modern photography.
Philip-Lorca Decorcia- Uses a combination of artificial and natural lighting.
