Charles Marville; Recorded the progress of this early town renewal. He toured the town with his camera and recorded images, below are two of them. He often took pictures where there was soft even light which occured on overcast days. He was known to to take pictures after rainstorms to capture the luminosity of the damp cobblestone streets.
This image was taken after recent rain.
